Thad began his public accounting career as a CPA in 1997, joined the Erpelding, Voigt & Co., L.L.P. team in November of 2008, and became a partner on October 1, 2009. Thad works with a variety of industries including agriculture, retail, health care, construction, and consulting.
Thad is involved with all aspects of personal and business income tax planning and preparation, personal financial planning, business consulting and management services, and financial statement preparation. Thad also facilitates the firm’s tax and accounting research function. Thad is a Registered Representative with a Series 6 and 63, and holds a life, health, and accident insurance license.
Thad is a 1997 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. Prior to joining Erpelding, Voigt & Co., L.L.P., Thad was a Senior Tax Manager for a Quad Cities area CPA firm for seven years.
Thad is a native of Algona and currently resides in Algona with his wife, Mindy, and their three children. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and volunteering in church and school activities. Thad is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants.
