Aaron joined Erpelding, Voigt & Co., L.L.P.’s Algona professional staff in 2007 and became a partner on October 1, 2009. Prior to joining Erpelding, Voigt & Co., L.L.P., Aaron was a Tax Manager for a Big 4 public accounting firm. Aaron works with a variety of industries including funeral homes, automobile dealers, agriculture, construction, manufacturing, and professional services.
Aaron is responsible for all aspects of income tax compliance for his clients including corporate, partnership, trust and individual income tax forms. He provides various consulting services including estate planning, financial planning, financial statement preparation, general business consulting, strategic planning, and succession management. Aaron is an Investment Advisor Representative, a Registered Representative with a Series 6 and 63, and holds a life, health, and accident insurance license.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University where he double majored in Accounting and Management Information Systems.
Aaron is currently the President for the Algona Chamber of Commerce, serves on the advisory board for the Monsignor Lafferty Tuition Foundation, and is a member of the Algona Rotary and the Knights of Columbus . He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants.
