Barbara has been a part of the firm’s professional staff since November of 2006. She works with a variety of business owners including those in the agriculture sector and with non-profit organizations.

Barb’s firm responsibilities include the preparation of income tax returns, payroll tax returns, and financial statements, as well as compilation and bookkeeping services. She is a member of the Erpelding, Voigt & Co., L.L.P. Tax Committee.

Barb received a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from North Park University in 1975. After numerous years of experience in the education field, she returned to college and in 2006 graduated with honors from Buena Vista University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. In January of 2009 she earned the CPA designation.

Barb lives in rural Kanawha with her husband, Doug. She assists Doug and their two grown sons in the family farming operation. Her professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants.
