Senior Accountant

Christie joined EV & Co. in September 1995 and is a member of the professional staff in Algona. She is one of our seasonal employees and works for the firm from November through April 15 of each year.

Christie prepares individual, corporate, and partnership income tax returns with an emphasis on the agriculture industry, but also works with other industries including professional services and retail. She also provides payroll tax return preparation, bookkeeping services, and financial statement preparation.

Christie graduated in August 1990 from Des Moines Area Community College with an Associate of Arts degree in liberal arts. She continued her education at the University of Northern Iowa and graduated in May 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting. Immediately following graduation, Christie successfully passed the CPA exam.

In the summer months, Christie and her husband, Curt, own and operate Spring Valley Golf Course. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
