Kevin joined the Erpelding, Voigt & Co., LLP team in July of 2013 and is the manager of the Humboldt office. He works with clients in a variety of industries including agriculture, banking, funeral home services, trucking, and others. Prior to joining Erpelding, Voigt & Co., LLP, Kevin worked for a public accounting firm in Des Moines as a Senior Auditor for six years.
Kevin is involved with all aspects of personal and business taxation including tax planning and preparation for individuals, corporations, and partnerships, personal financial planning, bookkeeping and payroll assistance, as well as business consulting and succession planning. He is also a member of our bank examination team. Kevin is an Investment Advisor Representative with a Series 65 designation, and holds a life, health, and accident insurance license.
Kevin graduated from Bishop Garrigan High School in 2002. He received an Associate of Arts degree from North Iowa Area Community College in 2004. He then received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Iowa State University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2007. He passed the CPA exam in 2009 and became a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
Kevin’s professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Iowa Society of CPAs. He is the treasurer of the Humboldt Rotary Club, and a member of the St. Joseph Knights of Columbus. Kevin lives in the St. Joe area with his wife Cassie and their children, Elsie, Charlie & Millie. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors, as well as spending time with family and friends.
